Home Visit — Your cat, your home, your rules.

A professional visit every day you're away — so their world doesn't change a bit.

Cats are creatures of habit. Their home isn't just where they sleep — it's their entire world. The smell of the couch, the patch of light by the window at 3pm, the routine that tells them everything is fine. Disrupt that, and even the most confident cat will notice.

A home visit keeps all of that intact. I come to you — feed your cat, sort the litter, spend real time together, and send you a photo so you know exactly how they’re doing.

Every visit includes

  • Feeding to their exact schedule & preferences
  • Fresh water topped up
  • Litter scoop & tray clean
  • Playtime, cuddles & one-on-one attention
  • Grooming brush
  • Light clean-up if needed
  • Photo updates on every single visit

What a visit actually looks like

Each visit is 30–45 minutes. Long enough to do everything properly, and long enough to give your cat genuine attention — not a rushed check-in where the litter gets sorted and the door closes two minutes later.

I feed your cat on their schedule, freshen the water, and sort the litter tray. Then we play — or sit quietly with your cat, if that’s what they prefer. Some cats want to be the centre of attention from the moment I walk in. Others need five minutes to decide if I'm acceptable. Both are completely fine.

Grooming is included in every visit. A gentle brush keeps their coat in good shape, and most cats come to love it once it becomes part of the routine.

Photo updates, every time

At the end of every visit, you get a photo — an actual photo of your cat doing whatever endearing or ridiculous thing they were doing while I was there. Not a generic "all good!" message.

If anything seems off — they're not eating, they seem unsettled — you'll hear from me straight away, not at the end of the day.

Multiple cats? Easy.

I look after multiple cats in the same household all the time. Each additional cat is a modest add-on, not a full separate charge — and everyone gets proper attention, not a five-second pat on the way out.

🎄 A note on Holiday & Peak Period Rates

Real talk: the holidays are prime silly season for cat parents everywhere. You're off unwinding, and I'm here making sure your baby doesn't even notice you've left — complete with cosy nap supervision, premium chin-scratch sessions, and daily photo dispatches to keep you smiling at the airport.

Holiday rates apply for Christmas, New Year, Easter and school holiday periods. It's not a surcharge so much as a festivity fee — demand is high, spots are limited, and my dedication remains absolute. Prices are always communicated clearly before you book. No nasty surprises, ever.

📅 Book early. Peak dates fill up fast — the earlier you lock in your dates, the smoother it is for everyone (your cat included).

Ready to book a visit?

Every new booking starts with a free Meet & Greet — I come to your home, meet your cat, and we take it from there.

Cat Boarding — A home away from home.

One cat family at a time — your cat has the space, the quiet, and my full attention.

Some cats are happiest in their own home, and a home visit is perfect for them. But others — sociable ones, or cats who get anxious on their own — genuinely do better with a human around all day. That's what boarding is for.

When your cat boards with me, they come to my Brunswick home and are treated exactly like my own. One booking at a time, always. That's not a marketing line — it's literally how I work. Your cat is my only guest, which means no competition, no stress from unfamiliar animals nearby, and my undivided attention from the moment I wake up.

What's included

  • Full-day one-on-one attention
  • Calm, quiet home environment with no other pets
  • A spacious, sunny room to stretch out, explore and call their own
  • Daily photo updates sent straight to you
  • Feeding to their exact schedule & diet
  • Medication administration & special needs welcome
  • Senior cats (13+) warmly welcomed with extra care

What you need to bring

  • Their food & food bowl (if your cat likes eating from their own)
  • Litter & litter tray
  • Any toys they're especially attached to
  • Their blanket or bed — but only if they'll only sleep on their own. Otherwise your cat is more than welcome to nap anywhere in my home, including on me or my bed 😊

One household at a time — always

Most boarding services take multiple clients at once. That works for them, but it isn't what I offer. When your cat is with me, they are the only boarding guest in my home. Periodt.

That means less stress for your cat — no unfamiliar animals nearby, no competing smells, no anxiety from sharing a space with strangers. And it means more attention from me — not divided across three or four households, but entirely on your cat.

I work from home most days, so "at home" actually means something. Your cat will have company through the day, not just a morning and evening visit.

The environment

My home is Brunswick-based, cat-proofed, and genuinely calm. No dogs, no chaotic household traffic, no stream of strangers coming and going. It's a quiet inner-north Melbourne home — the kind of place where a cat can find a sunny spot, decide it's theirs, and spend three hours there completely unbothered.

I'll give you a full tour during the Meet & Greet so you can see exactly where your cat will be staying and decide whether it feels right for them.

Senior cats & special needs

I have a genuine soft spot for older cats. They often need more patience, a quieter routine, and sometimes extra help — medication twice a day, a special diet, a slower and gentler approach. All of that is entirely welcome here.

Cats aged 13 and above receive a special rate, because owners who care for their companions through their senior years deserve support, not a premium charge.

If your cat has medical needs or specific requirements, let me know before the Meet & Greet and we'll talk through everything in detail.

Every boarding booking starts with a free Meet & Greet. Get in touch and we'll take it from there.

Meet & Greet — Before anything else, let's meet.

Free, no obligation, and always at your home — because that's where it makes sense.

Every new booking starts with a free Meet & Greet at your home. Not a sales meeting, not a formality — a genuine introduction. A chance for me to meet your cat in their own environment, understand their personality and routine, and for you to decide if I'm the right fit before committing to anything at all.

No pressure if you decide it's not right at all! Just a cup of tea's worth of time to make sure everyone — including your cat — is comfortable.

What happens at a Meet & Greet

  • I come to your home — your cat stays in their own space
  • Meet your cat and let them get comfortable with me at their pace
  • Walk through their daily routine, diet and any quirks
  • Discuss any medical needs, special requirements or anxieties
  • Go through key handover, emergency contacts and vet details
  • Answer any questions you have about how I work
  • Completely free — no obligation to book

Why it matters

Leaving your cat with someone new is a trust decision, and trust shouldn't be built on a profile page and some good reviews alone. The Meet & Greet is how I earn it properly.

I want to know your cat's name and what they actually respond to. Whether they'll let a stranger into their space easily, or whether they need ten minutes of quiet convincing from a distance. Where their hiding spot is. What they eat, when they eat, and how they let you know they've had enough.

It usually takes about 20–30 minutes. By the end of it, both you and your cat should feel settled. If not — no hard feelings, no awkward goodbye, and no charge.

What to have ready

It helps to have a few things on hand before I arrive — nothing needs to be perfectly organised, we'll go through it all together:

  • Feeding schedule and food preferences (wet, dry, brands if relevant)
  • Any medications or special instructions
  • Your vet’s name and contact number
  • An emergency contact for you while you’re away
  • Key arrangements — spare key, access codes, preferred lockbox

If you have a particularly anxious cat or one with complex needs, it’s worth jotting down a few notes beforehand — but there’s no formal paperwork required before we meet.

After the Meet & Greet

If you’re happy to go ahead, I’ll confirm your booking with all the details we’ve discussed. Everything is clear before I start — schedule, pricing, any specific instructions.

If you’re not quite ready to commit, that’s completely fine. There’s no expiry on a Meet & Greet. When you’re ready, I’ll be here.

Scarlett with Jiumi

Hi, I’m Scarlett

I’m a Brunswick-based cat lover with over 5 years of experience — starting with my own beloved fur baby, Jiumi, and growing from there through friends, fellow cat parents, and everyone in between.

Caring for cats isn’t a side gig for me — it’s what I’ve built my days around. Almost all of my time goes into this little business and the cats in my care, which means I’m genuinely, fully present: flexible with timing, quick to respond, and able to give your cat the kind of unhurried, all-day attention they deserve. Whether your baby needs daily medication, gentle senior care, or the patient support that kittens require, I’ll make sure they feel secure, comfortable, and truly looked after while you’re away.

I have a particular soft spot for older cats — their quiet loyalty is something I deeply admire. I offer an extra 10% discount for cats aged 13 and above, because owners who lovingly care for their companions through their golden years deserve all the support I can give.
